Juvéderm® ULTRA anti-ageing treatment comes in three formulations. The small and gentle injections smooth fine lines and facial folds and wrinkles, subtly plumping the lips for natural-looking, customisable results that last up to 12 months. Juvéderm™ VOLUMA™ revolumises hollow cheeks and recontours the cheekbones and chin, offering a smoother, more youthful appearance that lasts up to 18 months.
Juvéderm® ULTRA 2 erases moderate lines, especially those around the lips and corners of the eyes and those very close to the surface of the skin.
Juvéderm® ULTRA 3 smoothes wrinkles between the nose and corner of the mouth and around lips; it can be used very subtly to plump out lips in order to maintain a youthful smile.
Juvéderm® ULTRA 4 works on the most noticeable folds and lines, and improves the contour of the face.
The Juvéderm™ VOLUMA™ range restores lost facial volume as in the cheeks, cheekbones, and chin, recontouring the face for a fuller, smoother, more youthful appearance.
Who shouldn't be treated with the Juvéderm® ULTRA range of products?
There is no upper or lower age limit for anti-ageing treatment with the Juvéderm® range of products (except for children), but those patients with very thin skin will need different treatment than those with thicker skin. Juvéderm® is a colourless gel injected into the skin. Your medical aesthetic practitioner will be able to advise on whether you are well-suited for treatment, and which product is best for which indication.
And, we shouldn’t forget that it’s not just women who age. Treatments with the Juvéderm® range of products are very popular amongst men as well.
