(enrolled in specialist training programme at Kings college for endodontics, 3rd year)
I qualified at Bristol Dental School in 2000 and spent the following few years in the Southwest gaining experience first in hospital and then in practice. During this time I gained my membership with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
I have undertaken various postgraduate courses such as implants, cosmetic dentistry and advanced restorative dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute with an aim of improving my dental skills to the highest standard. This led to an interest in endodontics (root canal treatment) and so I enrolled on the specialist training programme at King's college London for endodontics.
My aim is to provide high quality endodontics in an efficient manner. I enjoy treating nervous patients and changing their often unfavourable opinion of root canal treatment. The treatment is complex due to the anatomy of the tooth however my aim is to make it a comfortable experience. This is achieved with effective local anaesthetic in a pleasant and relaxing environment. I carry out both initial root canal treatments as well as re-treatments where the root has already been filled but has not healed. I have been concentrating on endodontics for the last few years and have recently limited my practice to endodontics. The aim of which is to focus on endodontics and so provide root canal fillings to the highest standard.

Before entering into the dental field I gained a BSc Hons in Psychology from Dundee University in 2005. In January 2007 I then embarked on the two and half year clinical training course to become a Dental Hygienist/Therapist at the Greater Manchester School for Dental Care Professionals.
Having graduated in March 2009 I then decided to build not only on my clinical practice, working within general practice but also to use my previous experience of research to become a Research Hygienist.
In April 2009 I moved to London to take a position at the Unit of Periodontology, at the Eastman Clinical Investigation Centre based at the Eastman Dental Hospital, London. It is here I work as Research Hygienist on a part-time basis.
I also hold a position at King's College London School of Dental Hygiene and Therapy as a part-time Dental Hygiene/Therapy tutor.

I have worked at Eithicare Dental Centre for almost 1 and half years now but have over 7 years of experience in dentistry.
I Graduated as a Dental Hygienist in 2008 at The DDS School of Dental Hygiene and have since completed many more hours of continued education including Tooth whitening/bleaching and Specialist Radiography.
I am originally from the sunny City of Liverpool and though I spend the majority of my time in London, my love is still with Liverpool F.C but don't let that put you off me!
