"I was thrilled with the dental treatment, it was all over in approximately 1.5 hours and the lady dentist was professional, caring and explained the steps along the way. I would thoroughly recommend her to any of your patients.
The Botox treatment I received was all done with great care and professionalism and I am sure I shall return for a top up in due course."
Ms. Cathy Sage
I would be delighted to recommend your practice most highly. I particularly appreciate Kate, your wonderful hygienist, the best one I've ever met. She is extremely personable and very thorough, always taking time to explain how I can improve my brushing technique. The other very happy customers are my children Morgan (5) and Rosie (3) who both came to you for their check up. You managed to keep Morgan's full attention and enthusiasm for 25 minutes while you did a very comprehensive examination and had a chat with him about cleaning his teeth. I appreciated how you warned him what was coming e.g. trying out the cold air blast on his hand first. I could tell that you have kids of your own. Rosie had never been to a dentist before but sat perfectly for you - again, all credit to you. They left with stickers and certificates beaming with pride. Keep up the amazing work.

I would recommend the Ethicare Dental Practice to friends and colleagues for its very friendly service and highly professional treatment.
Miss Catherine Beck
During my initial visit to your clinic in Feb 09, I found your clinic to be so clean, bright and modern - well gone are the days where we all dread going to the dentist - especially after seeing the great technology used! I was well treated during my consultations - friendly staff and most informative, taking time to answer all my questions.
I actually received a reminder on my mobile yesterday to book in for a check-up soon: What an excellent way to remind me - keeping up with technology!
Mrs. Lisa Hawkins
Ethicare has given me both a beautiful smile and fantastic service. Both doctors on staff are extremely professional and take great pride in their work. The practice prides itself on being in touch with the latest technology and having at hand. The admin team is always courteous and friendly. Just the thing you need when nerves are playing up before going into the dentists chair. Well done and a big thanks to you all at Ethicare!

Fixed Appliance
At Ethicare Dental we have a Specialist Orthodontist that not only sees patients from the Putney/Wandsworth area but also from all over London. Dr Muwahid works Saturdays at Ethicare Dental and deals with our more complex Orthodontic cases.
Orthodontics involves moving the teeth using a variety of techniques. Treatment can be carried out on both children and adults. At your first visit Dr Muwahid, our orthodontist will carry out an initial assessment. She will find out what your concerns are and after a thorough clinical examination a tailor made plan will be formulated which is specific to your needs and requirements.
There will often be different treatment options. Dr Muwahid will discuss the pros and cons of each so that you will be fully informed about your treatment.
A variety of techniques are employed here at Ethicare Dental. These include fixed braces where the brackets can be of the standard metallic type or white brackets which are obviously far more cosmetic. There are various systems available which can be employed within fixed appliance therapy including the Damon system. Rana's preferred choice of cosmetic bracket system is the Clarity system by 3M. Dr Muwahid not only receives referrals from the Wandsworth and Putney area but also receives orthodontic referrals fro all over London. Dr Muwahid is also an Invisalign certified dentist.
Damon Braces
The Damon Bracket System® is not just a new product, it's a whole new way of treating patients. Conventional treatment often requires removal of healthy teeth and/or the use of palatal expanders to make space. This approach is often uncomfortable, takes longer, and can leave a narrower arch and a flat profile. Damon smiles are full, natural 10-tooth smiles achieved with light biologically-sensible forces, and are specifically designed to improve the overall facial result of each patient.
1. Damon® passive self-ligating braces that eliminate the need for elastic or metal "ties". With Damon® tie-less braces you can experience treatment without tightening.
2. Light high-technology shape-memory wires that move teeth faster and require fewer adjustments.
3. A new clinially proven treatment approach that aligns your teeth and enhances your facial aesthetics - usually without extractions or rapid palatal expanders.
Common Braces versus Damon Bracket System®
Conventional braces on the left are tied in with elastics, which cause friction and pressure, making treatment slower and less comfortable. Damon Bracket System® braces use a slide mechanism to hold the wire, which allows teeth to move more freely, quickly and comfortably.
Dr Muwahid is also trained in the use of Incognito lingual appliance therapy which allows the brackets to be positioned on the teeth where they can hardly been seen.
INCOGNITO LINGUAL APPLIANCES
Prospective patients are required to read and understand the Orthodontic consent form prior to treatment.
