Ethicare Dental is a family run dental practice. Glafcos and Klaudia Tombolis are a husband and wife team. As well as running the practice we are the primary dental care providers which means we are committed to administering a quality dental service and have a vested interest in providing continuity of care to all our patients.
Dr. GLAFCOS TOMBOLIS BDS DENTISTRY (1998) – GDC:74754
Glafcos Tombolis qualified from The Royal London Hospital in 1998. After a year of vocational training he moved to work as an Associate in London. For 4 years Glafcos worked in a mixed NHS/ PRIVATE practice at which point this central London establishment became purely private.
Glafcos is an experienced practitioner. Having worked 6 days a week for many years now, there are few circumstances within his chosen field of practice that he has not come across. Glafcos carries out all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry.
He is committed to a program of continued professional development and attends many courses to keep up to date with modern techniques.
Glafcos chose the name ETHICARE DENTAL to perfectly construe the values with which he has practiced dentistry since he qualified.
Dr. KLAUDIA TOMBOLIS BDS DENTISTRY (1996 Adelaide) – GDC:75470
Klaudia Tombolis qualified from the University of Adelaide in Australia in 1996. She developed a solid grounding in a private practice for 2 years in Adelaide. Klaudia moved to the UK in early 1999 and worked for the NHS in Essex for a year, followed by working in a private practice in central London from 2000. She has been working at Ethicare Dental and other private dental practices in central London ever since.

Training and Background
Dr Bassi qualified from the University of London and then entered into a period of General Professional Training that included posts in general dental practice and the hospital services. During this time he gained his Fellowship from the Royal Colleges of Glasgow and Edinburgh. In 1999, Dr Bassi commenced a 5-year Specialist Registrar training programme in restorative dentistry that provided extensive experience of complex restorative problems including the management of patients requiring implant, prosthodontic, periodontal and endodontic treatment. He also passed the Master of Dental Science degree with distinction for his research on resin-bonded bridges. Dr Bassi has lectured extensively and published a wide variety of articles in scientific journals, and also has a Consultant post in Restorative Dentistry.
Restorative Dentistry – the treatment of general and complex restorative problems including the management of worn teeth, correcting cosmetic dental problems and rehabilitating the failing dentition.
Prosthodontics – crown and bridgework and all types of partial and complete dentures.
Implantology – placement and restoration of dental implants and maintenance/long-term care of implants.
Periodontics – gum treatment ranging from scaling and polishing of teeth through to complex surgical techniques.

Dr Priti Acharya BDS Hons, MFDS RCS Eng, MFGDP(UK), MSc, MOrth RCS Eng., FDSOrth RCS Eng. GDC:81083 – Specialist Orthodontist
Priti qualified with BDS Honours in 2002, from Guy’s, Kings & St. Thomas Dental Institute (Kings College London). While there, she was awarded several prizes and awards, including the distinguished Newland Pedley Medal for Restorative Dentistry and the Jelf Medal for the best all-rounder dental student graduating in 2002. She undertook a House Officer Post at Guys’ Hospital and West Kent Community Dental Service, gaining experience in all aspects of dentistry including the management of anxious children.
She undertook her Postgraduate Specialist Orthodontic training at the Eastman Dental Institute, University College London, obtaining her Masters in Science degree in 2009 and qualified as an Orthodontic Specialist in 2010, when she was awarded the 3M Unitek Prize for the best overall orthodontic student graduating from the Eastman Dental Hospital in 2010. She subsequently undertook a further two years training at the Eastman Dental Hospital, UCLH and Kingston Hospital, Surrey treating complex multi-disciplinary cases. She was awarded her Fellowship in Orthodontics in 2012 and is a Consultant Orthodontist at the Eastman Dental Hospital, University College London NHS Foundation Trust. She is a member of the British Orthodontic Society and the European Society of Orthodontics.
Outside Dentistry, she enjoys travelling, diving and reading on her Kindle.
Dr. Yvonne Szyszko BDS (London), MFDSRCS (Eng), M Surg Dent Specialist in Oral Surgery – GCD:72617
Yvonna Szyszko qualified from Guy’s Hospital in 1996. After completing her vocational training in the London deanery, she worked for 3 years as a hospital senior house officer in oral and maxillofacial surgery. During this time, she was awarded her MFDS and M.Surg. Dent postgraduate exams.
In 2001, Yvonna moved to Australia to take up the position of lecturer in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Sydney, working at Westmead and the United Dental Hospitals. This involved lecturing, clinical teaching and also head and neck anatomy demonstrating. She also worked in general practice for the Australian health care fund.
Having moved back to England, Yvonna is involved in lecturing and examining at the Royal College of Surgeons in England. She has completed many courses in life support and trauma, SAAD sedation, teaching, forensic dentistry and anthropology and in wrinkle reduction treatments.
Yvonna is a specialist in oral surgery and provides a wide range of oral surgery procedures, as well as anti-wrinkle treatments, with her extensive knowledge of facial anatomy. She also works in a hospital in the speciality of oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Dr Federico Foschi, BDS, MSc, PhD – GCD:175853
Dr Foschi qualified from the Univeristy of Bologna in 2002 and immediately was recruited as clinical demonstrator in the teaching hospital, where he subsequently completed his post-graduate Endodontic training. Soon afterwards Federico moved to Boston were he completed a PhD in Endodontics at the Forsyth Institute. In 2009 he was appointed Lecturer in Endodontology at King’s College London.
Federico registered on the General Dental Council as a Specialist in Endodontics and he is a member of the British Endodontics Society.
His areas of expertise include de novo treatment of complex anatomical features, re-root canal treatment, removal of fractured instruments and posts. Federico has a calm and serene style that is ideal also for anxious patients.
Dr Foschi lectures about basic-science and clinical aspects of Endodontology. He published several peer-reviewed articles on international journals.
Sylwia Osman-Soltysiak – GDC: 191427
Sylwia graduated in Dental Hygiene in 2009 at the School of Medical Education in Poznan, Poland. She has registered with the General Dental Council as a Dental Hygienist in 2011 and has been working in dental practices in the UK since then.
Being an experienced Public Health worker, she has brought a positive contribution to all health organisations she has been involved with in Poland and the UK. After graduating in Public Health at Medical University in 1998, Poland, she worked in Clinical Hospital of Medical University for several years, gaining the knowledge and experience necessary in better understanding all patients’ needs.
Sylwia is well organised and can effectively communicate with patients. She is a passionate advisor in the field of Oral Hygiene, giving useful and individually focused instructions on how to keep the oral cavity in perfect condition. Constantly upgrading her qualifications by participating in many training courses, she is strongly motivated in learning new techniques of treatment.
